Sleep Deprivation Awareness Brochure
This project is a tri-fold informational brochure designed to communicate the effects of sleep deprivation and promote healthier sleep habits. The goal was to transform research-based information into a clear, engaging, and visually accessible format. Through structured layout, consistent iconography, and a calming night-inspired palette, the brochure presents both the consequences of poor sleep and practical tips for improvement.
Information Design
The layout was organized to present information in a logical flow, beginning with the broader effects of sleep deprivation, moving into supporting statistics, and ending with practical recommendations for better sleep. Icons, charts, and grouped content blocks were used to make the information more digestible and visually engaging.
Typography
Typography was used to create a strong hierarchy between headings, statistics, and body copy. Large type emphasizes key data points, while smaller supporting text keeps the informational sections readable and approachable. This contrast helps guide the reader through the brochure in a clear and structured way.
Illustration Approach
3D illustrations were used to make the brochure more visually inviting and to help communicate information in a more accessible way. Some of these elements were custom created for the project, allowing the visual style to feel more cohesive and closely connected to the overall theme of sleep and rest.
Color Palette
A cool palette of deep blues and soft purples was chosen to reflect the subject of sleep and nighttime routines. Warm yellow accents were used to create contrast and draw attention to key headings and visual details. Together, these colors help the brochure feel calm, cohesive, and easy to navigate.
