Hypergoat Coffee Roasters
Brand Identity & Packaging System

Hypergoat Coffee Roasters is a brand identity project developed for a small-batch specialty coffee company rooted in craft, transparency, and curiosity. Inspired by the legend of Kaldi and the energetic spirit behind the name, the project aimed to create a visual system that feels playful and distinctive while still communicating quality, expertise, and authenticity.

Logo System

The logo system was created to remain flexible across multiple touchpoints, including packaging, menus, signage, and printed materials. Variations in black and white, color, and reversed formats help maintain consistency while adapting to different applications.

Color Palette

The color palette was developed to reflect the warmth, craft, and approachable personality of Hypergoat Coffee Roasters. Rich brown and soft beige reference coffee, roasting, and natural materials, while muted blue adds distinction and helps expand the brand beyond packaging into a broader visual system. Together, these colors create a balance between comfort, quality, and playful character.

Typography

Typography was chosen to balance personality with readability. The expressive script-style logo gives the brand a lively and memorable voice, while supporting type helps maintain clarity across packaging, menus, stationery, and environmental applications. This contrast allows the identity to feel both approachable and polished across different touchpoints.

Stationery System

The stationery system applies the identity in a more formal context through letterhead, business card, and envelope designs. These materials help translate the brand’s visual personality into professional communication while maintaining consistency across print applications.

Menu Design

The menu system applies the identity in a customer-facing format, using typography, hierarchy, and color to organize information clearly while reinforcing the brand’s overall look and tone.

Packaging Applications

Packaging was developed to create a cohesive customer experience across coffee bags, take-away cups, and shipping materials. The system combines expressive branding with a restrained palette to keep the products recognizable, polished, and visually unified.

Environmental Branding

Environmental applications such as storefront graphics and window signage show how the identity can scale into physical space. These mockups demonstrate legibility, recognizability, and consistency beyond packaging and print.
